Obscuræ
I’m both guest curating and showing work at the Obscuræ photography exhibit in Braddock on the 5th and 6th of December. The show is at the Unsmoke Systems gallery and features photographs of the small obscure, yet amazing details of Braddock that are often overlooked. It’s a fundraiser for a variety of revitalization projects that are in the works around town.
There will be a showing on Friday night and a lottery on Saturday, where anyone with a ticket gets to take home an original framed photograph. An online gallery will soon follow, so even if you can’t make the show please consider buying a print and helping support the cause.
Also: If you’re in Portland there are a few places where you can see my stuff:
- The Polaroid show at Q is for Choir is held over for the rest of November.
- I have a couple pieces in the rain-themed group art show at The Waypost at North Williams and Fargo. It’s a great coffee joint if you’ve never been.
- There’s a selection of my prints, mostly black and whites, at Tiny’s Cafe, on SE 12th at Hawthorne.
