The Portraits

Portrait Booth Portrait

The Portrait Booth Project will be making an appearance tonight at 29th and Alberta outside Ampersand.  Last month’s experiment was a resounding success, so we’re back at it again, armed with some new ideas and extra props.

I spent the last month working with images from the three shoots in April. I’ve been drying out the chemical residue left over from the prints and scanning them to create odd pseudo-negatives.  The resulting image is a combination analog, digital and alt-process hybrid, with unpredictable solarization.

I just put some of my favorites on the site, have a look: The Portraits
